
Dian Prianka is a fashion educator and innovation catalyst with a unique cross-disciplinary background. She holds a Sarjana Teknik in Product Design from Universitas Surabaya and a Master’s in Brand and Fashion Management from Fu Jen Catholic University, Taiwan, where her research explored personal branding strategies on Instagram. As a Lecturer in Fashion Design at Universitas Surabaya’s Faculty of Creative Industries, Dian bridges her technical design expertise with digital marketing savvy to prepare students for Indonesia’s evolving creative economy. Her parallel role as Manager of Ubaya InnovAction Hub’s Incubator and Accelerator Program allows her to turn classroom concepts into real ventures, guiding student startups from ideation to execution.
Known for her accessible teaching style, Dian believes education should mirror industry realities while nurturing each student’s unique voice. Whether she’s decoding Instagram algorithms in class or hosting casual mentoring sessions over coffee, her goal remains constant: to equip young creatives with both the technical skills and business acumen to make meaningful impact. Her approach blends product design fundamentals with fashion branding strategies, reflecting her own journey from technical training to creative entrepreneurship.
